DUTS Design presents its space renovation project collaborate with lighting consultant, Studio Illumine, a multi-functional kids space in Shanghai’s Qiantan district. With an irregular-shaped space of 630 square meters, the designers have created a “Flowing Chapter” that offers a unique and enriching experience for children.

Elevate Imagination: A Multi-Functional Kids Space Where Creativity Soars
The challenge of the irregular layout was overcome by utilizing the vertical height of the space, creating a suspended and dynamic environment. The space features an open theater, classrooms, a library, and office areas, all thoughtfully designed to maximize functionality and ensure a safe and engaging experience. With its prime location facing a lively square, the space also serves as a cultural display area, captivating the public with its imaginative design and undulating flow lines.
