Bespoked beauty corner house is in Setia Alam
The residential area of Setia Alam consists of various types of properties, including terrace houses, semi-detached houses, bungalows, and apartments. The majority of the properties are designed to be eco-friendly and have a modern and contemporary look.
Seamlessly extending from the existing housing scheme, the new wing enhances the unit’s overall aesthetic appeal. The massing of the structure takes into account the site context and the path of the sun, resulting in an optimized outdoor area shaded by a double-brick feature wall. This thoughtfully crafted wall serves to mitigate heat gain from direct west sunlight, ensuring comfortable internal spaces.
The mezzanine floor boasts a double-volume Dining and Family Hall strategically positioned to face north, offering captivating views of the outdoor space and garden through a full-height glazed wall.
Providing privacy to the interior areas, vertical metal fins adorn the outer layer of the glazed wall, harmoniously connecting the old and new sections of the building for a cohesive façade treatment. The intentional combination of natural red clay bricks and industrial metal elements in both the interior and exterior exudes a raw and captivating aesthetic, perfectly aligning with the client’s aspirations.
