How buildex.my get started?
We founded buildex.my with the mission to create an integrated building & design material sourcing database made for architects and designers.
When designing projects, we often find material sourcing is the huddle after spending time perfecting the design. We stepped out from the design task and found a solution to solve our problems and this solution was made for our architects and designers peers.
I’m Lo , Architect and founder of Buildex.my
I’m Ar.Lo Chang Yong, (LAM A/L 433), I have worked on projects locally and internationally since 2012. After serving the Architecture industry for 12years, i ventured into Buildex.my to create the solution for the industry.
I enjoy spending my free time finding solutions to our problems. But if there are priorities, they are family ???, architecture?️, automotive ?, cycling ?, policy making?
I’m Munyee, The Material & Marketing wizard
Call me Munyee, 敏仪. I love design as much as I love materials that are used to realize the design. Being an Architect & ID, i realized there is a profound connection that we can improve between material and design. Especially when it comes to material selection.
I’m Boo, The Uncle Boo
“People at site called me Uncle, I’m not so Uncle in real person.” Uncle Boo. After obtaining a construction management degree, i worked as Project Manager for Retail & Interior design projects. 14 years in the field, i know the selok-belok in finding materials & suppliers.
I’m Sara, Content Creator
Trained as space and interior storyteller, i am putting my story telling skill into words by helping interior designers and suppliers to create memorable and creative content. This is a venture that i undertake to improve the design industry. ?

Besides digital marketing, we are in direct with designers and architects in spreading out our platform solution to the architects and designers. Every visit that we make brings us closer to designers, projects, and materials.
