HUKM Surgical Skills Center is a play of transparency & function by Bruce Tan (Ar.)
The architecture of this building was inspired by the clean and sleek line of surgical instruments which are highly specialized. Along this line, the advanced surgical skills centre was developed for a highly specialised purpose, which is a place to teach and practice the art of surgery and technology.

HUKM Project is in UKM
UKM, or Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, is a prestigious Malaysian public university located in Bangi, Selangor. Established in 1970, UKM is renowned for its academic excellence, research contributions, and commitment to Malay culture and language. It offers a wide range of programs and plays a pivotal role in Malaysia’s higher education landscape.
It is a flexible training center that consist of flexible learning spaces to inspire and guide more practitioners
The training center comprises a wide array of adaptable learning environments designed to facilitate diverse educational endeavors. These encompass obligatory and statutory training, formal education program instruction, and educational initiatives aimed at enhancing healthcare delivery.
ASSC serves as a dedicated space for instructing and honing surgical skills and technology. Given the growing concerns regarding litigation in the field of surgery, the training methods for surgical skills and interventional procedures have shifted towards simulation-based techniques.
